National Highways has advised of overnight closures of the M5. They have said the following: 'National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A-roads. This is to let you know about planned overnight closures on the M5 between junctions 17 and 15, northbound only. The closures will take place between 9pm in the evening until 5am the following morning (subject to traffic flow).
Sunday 10 March
Monday 11 March
Tuesday 12 March
Signed diversion routes will be in place. M4 motorists will be directed via Hayes Way, Gloucester Road and M4 J19. M5 motorists will be diverted via J16.
To minimise disruption we’ll work overnight when there are fewer vehicles on the road. During the day the road will be open as usual. We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community is kept to a minimum, and apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause.
We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes. Please monitor www.trafficengland.com to keep updated.
