Patchway Town Council approves funding to support young people’s services

At the Full Meeting of Patchway Town Council on 16^th June 2026, Patchway Town Council approved funding totalling £8000.00 to support young peoples services in the town.

£4250.00 was approved for the Foundation for Active Community Engagement (FACE) who provide youth services in the town through the Patchway Youth Centre and outreach programmes.

£3000.00 was approved for Turtle CYP to support the free Summer Playscheme in the town which provides local families with a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy a range of activities including arts, crafts, sports and team games.

£750.00 was also approved for FACE Charity to support the YouFest young person’s event in Patchway on 21^st July 2026. Patchway Town Council is also providing Norman Scott Park as a location for this exciting new initiative for the town.

Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Roger Loveridge said, ‘Supporting our young people of the town is important and as a Council we are pleased to have been able to approve the £8000.00 across the three services and initiatives’.
