Sports Fundays

Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th April 2024

Patchway Town Council have set up in partnership with Signature Sports Coaching FREE sport fun days for Patchway residents over Easter half term.

Sessions will be held on Tuesday 9th April, Wednesday 10th April and Thursday 11th April. Morning sessions will be 10am - 12pm and afternoon sessions will be 1pm - 3pm for these dates. Sessions have 30 spaces for children between 5-12 years old.

This scheme has been funded by Patchway Town Council and South Gloucestershire Council to ensure that young people have a great opportunity and that there are no barriers to them attending these workshops.

Each day, a different sport will be played and your child will learn new skills, have fun and make friends. These workshops will be held at Norman Scott Park on the Jason Franklin 3G Facility.

Throwback Festival

Saturday 20th July 2024 - 12pm to 9.30pm

The RETURN of Patchway Festival!

The theme for this year's festival is Throwbacks. And we are throwing it right back, to the good old days in Patchway! This WHOLE DAY event is a day of non-stop fun!!

There will be LIVE music all day from Mini Concerts, including:

  • Fearlessly Taylor

  • The Sundaes (50's & 60's Swing)

  • The Beatles Story

  • They Will Rock You

  • ABBA Tribute Set

  • Disco Inferno

Everyone’s favourite funfair will be in town courtesy of Mr Jimmy Crole. Expect thrills, chills and excitement throughout the day.

Also for 2024, we have Mascot Mayhem with our friends at Special Occasion Mascots who will be bringing EIGHT characters to life! Expect some throwback faves as well as some new additions throughout the whole day!

We have children’s entertainment in the form of Jo-Jo Sparkles with her magic and magical balloon skills. We also have a traditional (‘that’s the way to do it!’) Punch and Judy show for the little ones to enjoy.

🎪 Step Right Up to Our Time-Traveling Circus Workshop for all the family! 🕰️ The "Fusion Dance Circus" circus workshop is a hands-on extravaganza where kids not only witness but actively participate in creating their own circus magic. This immersive experience blends entertainment and education. Join the spectacle of retro fun with interactive circus games.

Snack Attacks in The Park will be open until 5pm and will have encounters of the creepy kind from Bristol Reptile Encounters.

Plus a local market, cricket match, food and drink, family entertainment and LOTS of surprises!

Patchway Present Drive

December 2024

Building on the back of the successful Christmas Present drive in 2022, where over 300 gifts were given out to local schools, youth groups and young people’s community groups, we will be collecting donations of presents again for local children in Patchway.

Residents can come and take a tag from Callicroft House and return with their donated gift.

This was a scheme derived by Patchway Town Council to ensure that most young people in Patchway had something to have on Christmas Day. This project helped to form close links with Coniston Primary School, Callicroft Primary Academy and Patchway Youth Centre.
