The Community Hub
Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm
The Community Hub at the Casson Centre is open for all residents from 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday and offers free tea and coffee, refreshments, community larder, kids corner, activities and classes.

Every Friday 11am
Bingo at The Community Hub is held every Friday at 11am. Free entry and prizes.

Mother's Day with The Community Hub

Easter Egg Drive
Donations by 24th and 31st March 2023
Patchway Town Council are welcoming donations of Easter Eggs to be distributed throughout the town's schools, pre-schools, youth centre and Community Hub.
Donate via Callicroft House by 24th March and via The Community Hub at the Casson Centre by 31st March

The Great Easter Bunny Trail
1st - 16th April 2023
During the Easter holidays, Patchway Town Council are inviting all residents to get involved with the ‘The Great Easter Bunny Trail’.
Find the Easter Bunnies around Patchway by solving clues and unscramble the letters to find out the bunny's name. All correct entries will be entered into a draw to win the large soft cuddly Easter Bunny, complete with their own Patchway Town council ID card!
Forms available from March, Bunnies in place from 1st April. Competition open between 1st - 16th April 2023.

Come and be Royal-Tea for the Day!
Saturday 6th May 2023 10am
On Saturday 6th May 2023, the Patchway Community Hub are throwing open their doors for a Royal celebration!
Come and join us from 10am as we watch the Coronation of King Charles III and celebrate with a buffet lunch and a cream tea at The Casson Centre on Rodway Road.
We will be watching the monumental occasion on our large television and we invite residents who are either going to be on their own or would like some company to join us!
Please note that if you’re are bringing children, we expect them to sit and watch the proceedings out of respect to those who want to watch the day’s events.
There will be a buffet lunch served around midday and this will be followed by a Royal afternoon tea, put on by our wonderful volunteers!
The Casson Centre will be open from 10am until the end of the Coronation showing and residents can book their place by emailing office@patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk, ringing 01454 869 530 or by popping into The Community Hub.
Places are extremely limited to 30 people, so advance booking is essential. This event is totally free for all residents.

A Right Royal Clean
Monday 8th May
As part of King Charles’ Coronation Weekend of events, we are encouraging all residents to take part in a clean up of Patchway on Monday 8th May 2023.
Whether it’s a large park or your street, we want you to help us make a difference!
In tribute to His Majesty The King's public service, The Big Help Out will encourage people to try volunteering for themselves and join the work being undertaken to support their local areas. The aim of The Big Help Out is to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation Weekend.
Our ‘Big Help Out’ is this litter picking event and we want as many residents as possible across Patchway to sign up to help. Between us all, we can really make a difference to our community.
We have all of the equipment you will need, so please register your interest by emailing office@patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk or by ringing 01454 868 530.
All equipment will need to be returned on Tuesday 9th July. All rubbish collected will be collected by Patchway Town Council.

Sports Fundays
30th May - 2nd June 2023
Patchway Town Council are delighted to announce that we are once again offering free multi-sport workshops on the Jason Franklin 3G Facility at Norman Scott Park.
These workshops will be run by Signature Sports Coaching and will be available to all children under the age of 12, free of charge. You must live in a registered Patchway road name to access these workshops as they are for young people within Patchway only.
The workshops will run from the Tuesday of May half term to the Friday and there will be two sessions per day. The sessions are for up to 30 children.
Although these are free workshops, please only book the sessions you know you can attend as we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend.

A Platinum Postcard for Patchway
To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Patchway, the Town Council are inviting under 16s to design a postcard which will be buried in a time capsule to be rediscovered in 2033.
Pick up a postcard from Callicroft House between 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Patchway Memory Wall
Patchway Town Council would like to invite residents to take part in a memory wall to celebrate Patchway over the last 70 years.
Please drop in to Callicroft House with your images between 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, email them to office@patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk or drop them into the black postbox outside.

Poem for Patchway
Entries by 1st July 2023
Patchway Town Council want to ask young people to create a poem for Patchway and why they love to live here.
All poems will be featured on the Town Council's website as well as being read out at the Platinum Party in the Park on July 8th.

A Platinum Party for Patchway
Saturday 8th July 2023 - 11am to 9pm
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Patchway becoming a Parish in its own right, Patchway Town Council have organised a BIG party in Norman Scott Park for all residents to come together and celebrate!

Twinning Visit to Gauting
21st - 25th July 2023
Are you interested in different cultures? Would you like to visit a picturesque German town and learn about the history of their partnership with Patchway? If the answer is YES, then this visit is for you!
A delegation of Patchway Officials and Residents will be travelling to Gauting near Munich on 21 - 25 July 2023.
We are looking for more residents to join our trip. We estimate the cost of the trip is around £150 return (from Bristol) and all of our guests will be accommodated by our counterparts in Germany.
There will be a fun-filled programme of events and as always, lots to do in Gauting and the nearby Towns.

Spooky Scarecrow Trail
24th October - 31st October 2023
Throughout October, we are challenging all residents to create a Scarecrow that represents a character or scene from a movie. It could be from your favourite comedy or from a thriller, the list is endless! We ask that all Scarecrows are depicted in a family friendly manner and are suitable for all ages.

Fireworks to Music
Saturday 4th November 2023 5pm - Fireworks display from 7.30pm
Patchway Town Council are pleased to announce that after a successful trial event last year, the Patchway firework display is going ahead in 2023!
The event space will be open from 5pm on Saturday 4th November 2023. There will be live music and outdoor performers from 5pm ready to entertain you! We will also have outdoor food and drink vendors open from 5pm, including Snack Attacks at the park. The 15-minute firework display will start at 7:30pm and this will be strictly adhered to for safety reasons.
We have lots of things for people of all ages to do once you arrive in Scott Park and there is a variety of entertainment, novelties, food and drink. We will have Crole’s funfair in the car park with a selection of rides and attractions. We will also have live music as well as outdoor performers. There will be an outside bar as well as plenty of things to eat and drink.

Remembrance Day Service
Sunday 19th November 2023 10.45am
Patchway Town Council along with Steve Goodfellow and other members, are pleased to announce that the 2023 Remembrance Service will take place on Sunday 19th November 2023.
The service will take place at Norman Scott Park in front of the war memorial. There will be an organised march from The Parade down to the park at around 10am.
All residents are encouraged to attend to pay their respects.
