Please allow extra time for your journey and follow the signed diversion routes.
The closures are needed to allow us to complete concrete repairs to Almondsbury bridge deck and install bridge deck joints. Our work remains on schedule to finish ahead of the summer getaway.
To minimise disruption we’ll work overnight when there are fewer vehicles on the road. During the day the road will be open as usual. We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community is kept to a minimum, and apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause. Please accept our apologies for the late notice of tonight’s closure on this occasion.
We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes. Please monitor www.trafficengland.com to keep updated.
