Patchway Town Council are inviting all residents to see in the new Coronation of King Charles III by taking part in local events in your community. Below is a short guide of what’s on over this long weekend!
Saturday 6th May
Come and watch the Coronation with your community at The Casson Centre on Rodway Road. The day’s proceedings will be shown live along with a buffet lunch and cream tea! This event will be free to attend but spaces are limited. More information can be found at www.patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk/events
Sunday 7th May
Get together in your street and toast the new King! We are encouraging all residents to have a street party to celebrate the new reign! Whether it’s just you and your dog or your whole street, we want to hear from everyone who is getting out and celebrating with their community!
Monday 8th May
It’s time to get active as we tidy up Patchway with a Right Royal Clean Up. We want residents to come together as volunteers to form any army of litter pickers! We will provide all of the equipment, we just need you and your community spirit. More information can be found at www.patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk/events
Patchway Town Council will also be putting up bunting across the whole Town and giving out a commemorative pin badge to every year 6 child in Patchway’s schools!
