Southern Brooks - Mental Health & Wellbeing Support
Please find information on mental health & wellbeing support from Southern Books below:
'Southern Brooks has been deeply saddened to hear that another person in the BS34 area has taken their own life. We are pleased to be working with Patchway Town Council to offer the community support at this difficult time, and to bring Mental Health into the spotlight for the area.
We at Southern Brooks have a team who are trained and dedicated to support the community through various roles. We can offer ideas and opportunities to get involved with groups or organisations created to help with many issues that can affect a person’s mental health.
We area canvassing all the public spaces in the area with our new poster designed to give quick information about support that can be found if you are feeling that life is too hard. For more information or a copy of this poster please contact email@example.com.
For more support the “One You South Gloucestershire” website is a healthy lifestyles and wellbeing service that can help you make important, lasting improvements to your health. The Stress Less section offers lots of information about improving your mental wellbeing, mental wellbeing support, mental health awareness and sleep support.
We would always advise that if you are having difficulties with your Mental Health to seek support through your local GP, who can link you with a Social Prescriber to find the best path to wellness for you. If you feel that you are in immediate danger, you should ring 999.
If you are feeling lonely or isolated there are many groups running across Patchway that are free to attend. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are keen to look at your lifestyle and to make changes towards a healthier mind and body then there is lots of information via the South Gloucestershire Website https://find-information-for-adults-children-families.southglos.gov.uk/kb5/southglos/directory/home.page
