Patchway Town Council awards Community Grants totalling £5950 to eleven groups
Patchway Town Council is pleased to award £5950.00 to a record eleven locally based groups through the Town Council Community Grants 2026 programme.
Each year, Patchway Town Council provides grants that benefit our local community and residents. The recipients of Patchway Town Council Community Grants are:
AFC Bristol is awarded £700.00 to support regular training sessions and competitive matches for local residents, creating opportunities to improve physical
fitness, mental wellbeing, confidence, teamwork and social inclusion.
Aretians RFC is awarded £250.00 to towards equipment for the new junior
Section including balls, tag belts, foam tackle bags and cones.
The Tamil Association of Bristol (TAB) is awarded £500.00 for its annual Diwali Celebration to be held on 21 November 2026. Diwali, the Festival of Lights.
Patchway Cricket Club is awarded £750.00 to support end of season repairs of the cricket square by the volunteers from the Club.
St Chad’s Community Hub and ACH is awarded £500.00 to support a new Pollinator Project community gardening initiative bringing together volunteers to create a greener, more welcoming environment.
South West Community First Responders is awarded £250.00 for equipment maintenance and replacement for this critical local volunteer service.
Little Stoke & District Ladies Club is awarded £250.00 to support speaker fees and hall hire for this local group.
Stoke lane Athletic Football Club is awarded £500.00 to support new equipment for expanding youth teams playing at Norman Scott Park and across the local area.
The Link Club is awarded £750.00 to support and empower this essential community group’s activities based at the Casson Centre, Patchway.
Pretoria Road Allotment Society is awarded £750.00 to support the purchase and installation of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) to increase water harvesting on the allotment site.
Patchway Pre-School & Tots is awarded £750.00 to support the creation of a planting and growing area including a raised planter for the young gardeners.
We will hear more about all the Community Grants projects as they conclude and all organisations will be invited to the Annual Town Assembly to present their projects on 20th April 2027.
