Southern Brooks is working in conjunction with South Gloucestershire Council, The South Glos Faith Forum, SARI and the Avon Indian Community Association to host a set of Harmony Events to promote understanding of different faiths and cultures in South Gloucestershire.


The third and final event with the Bristol Faith Forum, Avon Indian Community Association, SARI, and South Gloucestershire Council, will be held  on the 9th March between 10am – 12.30pm at the Jubilee Centre in Bradley Stoke.


The event includes a time to eat together with food and drink provided (please advise of dietary requirements when booking)

The Indian Community of West of England (ICWE) invites all community members and friends to attend the Indian National Flag Hoisting ceremony at the Bradley Stoke Jubilee Centre, Bristol (BS32 8HL) on Friday, 26th January 2024 at 8:00 am to celebrate India's 75th Republic Day.


The ceremony will finish by 8.30 am with sweets distribution and patriotic songs. Please arrive early and park considerably.



Southern Brooks and Bradley Stoke Town Council are launching their local Red Dress project for International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March 2024 from 6.30 – 8.30pm in Bradley Stoke Community School.


This first main event will be the start of the red dress project in the area, culminating with a finale event in March 2025. The launch event has the themes of past, present and future and will involve a local choir, singers and inspirational speakers. Detailed programme and booking information to follow in due course.


The Red Dress Project is based on the model used for the worldwide community development approach to produce ‘The Red Dress’ (see website). The founder of the worldwide Red Dress project, Kirstie Macleod will be a guest speaker at the launch event.
