Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence attended the Lunar New Year celebrations at Coniston Community Centre on Friday 16th February hosted by South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network (SGREN).
This fantastic celebration was also attended by Patchway Town Councillors Toni Scott and Sam Scott who is also District Councillor for Charlton & Cribbs and provided a wonderful opportunity to welcome in a new Lunar year for the town.
To a background of dance and stunning costumes, the evening brought together many people from across the Patchway community who all had a wonderful time.
Mayor of Patchway Cllr Lawrence said, ‘It was brilliant to be invited to such a colourful, vibrant and exciting event. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening with my fellow councillors and so many people from the town!’.
