'With temperatures dipping more people are thinking about their energy bills, so it’s an important time to remind you to reach out to your community about the Home Upgrade Grant scheme, run by Severn Wye’s Warm and Well service, to help low-income, off-gas households in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire access free energy-efficiency home upgrades, to keep their energy bills down.
We are working on behalf of the Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire local authorities and has £6 million in government funding available. It is open to residents who:
· Don’t have mains gas central heating
· Own or privately rent a property with an EPC rating of D, E, F or G
· Have a total household income of under £31,000 per year
