South Gloucestershire Council - Pretoria Road, Patchway - Temporary Road Closure

Updated: Oct 8

UPDATE - 7th October 2025

The Town Council has contacted South Gloucestershire Council who have advised that due to achieving an early work permit the works on Pretoria Road by the water board have already been completed.

Therefore, there will NOT be any further works or the need for a road closure in November and the Temporary Road Closure notice should be ignored.

With thanks to a local resident for raising this query with the Town Council.

Please see details below from South Gloucestershire Council regarding the temporary closure of Pretoria Road.

(Pretoria Road, Patchway) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.
