Patchway Town Council would like to thank everyone who made our community Easter Egg drive a success. Advertised for a short period of three weeks, the Patchway community rallied around and ensured that every primary school aged child attending Callicroft Primary Academy and Coniston Primary School had an Easter Egg this year.
This very successful event was driven by the community and we could not have done it without the support of these local people and businesses.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to: Town Councillors and Town Council Staff, Westcoast Properties, Snack Attacks at The Park, Kiss Homemade Burgers, Hamberley House, Patchway Town Football Club, Stoke Lane Athletic Football Club, the wonderful Marg Brown (a local resident who went above and beyond!), Patchway Cricket Club and Patchway Community Hub users and volunteers.
With your help we have been able to deliver 196 Easter eggs to Coniston Primary School, 407 Easter Eggs to Callicroft Primary Academy, 70 small chocolate treats to Patchway Centre Pre-School and Tots, Sweets and Easter chocolates to The Patch Youth Centre, 25 Easter Eggs to distribute to children through the Community Hub at The Casson Centre, 60 Crème Eggs to give out to our Easter Bunny Trail entrants, 3 large Easter eggs for prizes for our bunny trail and 5 medium Easter eggs for prizes for our Easter Bonnet competition.
The Patchway community is really unbelievable and everyone from Patchway Town Council and Patchway Community Hub would like to see a HUGE thank you to everyone who has assisted with this project in the last three weeks. Without our wonderful community, this would not have been possible.
