Patchway agrees approved budget and precept for 2026 - 2027

Patchway Town Council agreed its approved budget and precept for the 2026 / 2027 financial year at its full council meeting on 20th January 2026.

At the meeting it was agreed to set the Precept for 2026/2027 at £548,410.

The precept is the money that Town and Parish Councils raise to spend within the local area. The money is collected as part of your Council Tax Bill and the budget document linked below details how taxpayers money will be used in the forthcoming year.

Based on a Council Tax Band D average, residents will now be paying £234.97 per year, a slight reduction of £1.17p per/week on 2025/2026 due to a slight increase in the taxbase (Band D equivalent households).

Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence stated, ‘Patchway Town Council has worked hard to provide value for money in the precept for 2026/2027 and We always seek efficiencies across services and seek further revenue streams to provide best value for residents’.
