Mayor’s Charity supports seven groups and organisations across Patchway

The Mayor’s Charity is supporting seven diverse groups and organisations across Patchway this year ensuring that all donations raised by residents and organisations for the Charity through the Council’s events programme and donation bucket at Callicroft House are delivering benefits for our community.

This year’s recipients come from a broad cross section of the community and are:

•          Patchway Centre Pre-School - £88.00 for bean bag chairs and an alphabet rug.

•          Wednesday Lunch Club - £130.00 for a new meat slicer and coffee pump pot.

•          Charlton Court Residents - £75.00 for Christmas lights.

•          The Memory Café - £144.00 for tablecloths.

•          Friends of Patchway Twinning - £50 for educational resources for the Twinning Prize.

•          Mamas Bristol - £100 for food for their 'Winter Warmer' event.

•          Coniston Primary School - £145.00 for bean bags, coffee table, throws, crockery set, paint and paint brushes.

Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence said, I am delighted to be able to nominate the seven recipients of this year’s Mayor’s Charity awards. They are all giving fantastic benefits and opportunities for so many people in our community. I have been proud to be able to visit a number of the groups so far and look forward to seeing them all in the next few weeks.’
