Mayor of Patchway and Chair of Junior Darts Corporation officially open Hangar61

On 23^rd March 2026, Hangar61 at Norman Scott Park, Patchway was officially opened by Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence and Chair of the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) Steve Brown.

Hangar61 brings an exciting new sports and community venue to the town and area with its massively refurbished and redesigned spaces and a focus on harnessing the growing world of junior darts.

The Mayor of Patchway and Chair of the JDC were joined by Town Councillors, Junior Darts Corporation representatives, residents, Council staff and the team behind the works for this momentous occasion.

Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence said, ‘I was delighted to have the honour of officially opening Hangar61 with Steve Brown, and surrounded by so many people who have worked tirelessly to give this special building an exciting and dynamic new future. Patchway has something to be really proud of in our largest green space.’
