Avon & Somerset OPCC has partnered with NTES to provide FREE Bystander Intervention Training for those who own, manage, or work in a business in Avon and Somerset's nighttime economy.
The OPCC are announcing a new initiative aimed at making our communities safer. In collaboration with Night Time Economy Solutions (NTES) they are offering a free bystander intervention training programme designed to prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG).
This programme is open to those who work in the nighttime economy, such as in pubs, nightclubs and hospitality. The training will be delivered by NTES in the following local authority areas; Bath and Northeast Somerset, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
This initiative seeks to empower businesses across the Avon and Somerset region with effective interventions geared towards enhancing the safety of women and girls in public areas while addressing violence against them.
