Local Plan Consultation

Consultation is now open on the new Local Plan for our area. It will establish the number of homes and jobs that are needed, where these should be located, and the infrastructure to support this. The plan also sets out how the district responds to preserve and protect our climate and local natural world. There will be a series of events in the new year too - you'll find further details via the link below.

Proposals to improve the A4174 

View and have your say on the suggested improvements for pedestrians and cyclists on the stretch of the ring road between the Wick Wick roundabout and the Coldharbour Lane junction before the consultation closes on Monday 18 December.

Proposals to tackle ‘car cruising’ 

We’re proposing to implement a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to tackle problems with ‘car cruising’. Car cruises are when drivers, passengers and spectators meet, often spontaneously, in car parks or public spaces to race, perform stunts or show off their vehicles. They often result in increased reports of anti-social behaviour such as speeding and noise.
