Local Information

Patchway is a vibrant town full of wonderful and different activities for everyone. We have two very lively community centres, Patchway and Coniston, 3 football pitches, one cricket pitch and a hard court for a multitude of sports. There also a lot of local groups in Patchway doing their bit for our community and for all ages and abilities.

Patchway boasts two wonderful community centres, Patchway Community Centre on Rodway Road and Coniston Community Centre at The Parade, who both have an array of classes and evens going on throughout the year.

We also have many nature reserves which are ideal for taking long strolls on such as Gorse Covert, The Tumps and Bevington Road. There are play areas at Gorse Covert, Scott Park, Blakeney Road and Bevington Close for children to get active on. There is also some exercise equipment in Gorse Covert, from the Brighton Road entrance.

Scott Park, is our largest park and is home to Patchway Sport's and Social Club as well a numerous amount of sports teams. It has a very large play area with equipment for all children regardless of ability.

Rodway Road is home to the Hub, in which Patchway Library is housed. Rodway Road is also home to the Fire Station and a good amount of shops and food outlets.

Charlton Hayes also has a great play area for children and it is rapidly developing incorporating other recreational activities such as shopping.
