National Highways has advised of the following road renewal works:
M5 junction 14 to 17 southbound - road renewal works
Monday 12 September to Friday 16 September 2022
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A roads. This postcard is to let you know we will shortly be carrying out essential resurfacing and roadmarking renewal works on the M5 between junctions 14 (Falfield) to 17 (Cribbs Causeway).
The work will start on the evening of Monday 12 September and finish on the morning of Friday 16 September.
To minimise disruption, we’ll work on weeknights only when there are fewer vehicles on the road. During the day we will keep the road open as usual.
The work is currently programmed as follows:
· Monday 12 September to Friday 16 September 2022 - full overnight closure of the southbound carriageway for 4 nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning.
There will be a fully signed diversion route in place during the full overnight closure, but please allow extra time for your journey.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes. Please monitor www.trafficengland.com to keep updated.
