Positive internal report for Patchway Town Council

Patchway Town Council’s Internal Auditor has stated that they are ‘pleased to again acknowledge the effectiveness of the existing accounting arrangements with support from an external contractor (DCK Accounting), the general quality of retained documentation and overall approach to governance matters.’ 

Patchway Town Council has received a positive report from the internal auditor, Auditing Solutions Ltd on their interim visit for in December 2023 for 2023/2024 with three recommendations arising which are being addressed.  

The report highlights how the Town Council ensures it takes positive action in its procedures and processes to safeguard public money.  

Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence said, It is fantastic to have another positive internal report that highlights how the Council and its officers are working hard to ensure the financial integrity of the Council. I wish to thank the Council’s staff and members who have worked hard behind the scenes’.
