Mayor's Visit to Coniston Primary School

In October, the Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence visited children at Coniston Primary School as part of his civic duties.

The Mayor spoke to year 6 children about what the Council do in Patchway and how the Council looks after certain areas in Patchway. The Mayor also asked the children about what they like in their town and how they think their town can be improved.

The Mayor was shown around the school and got to visit the newly relaunched ‘Reading Bus’. The children loved showing the Mayor their bus and even had time to share a story with him!
