In partnership with Bradley Stoke Community School, Avon Indian Association , Patchway Festival and Southern Brooks Community Partnership. Streamed Live on Facebook on Thursday 12th November

The Queens's Award for Voluntary Service

Patchway Festival Committee  won The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2018

The award was presented by the Lord Lieutenant  at a presentation attended by current and previous members of the committee. The festival has now been running in Patchway for 27 years, because of the time and energy put in by a team of amazing volunteers. Les Brooks, who is the Chair for the committee and his wife Rose, were invited to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace on behalf of the committee and commented, "It was an absolutely brilliant day, we had a fabulous time at the garden party and saw the Queen from a distance!  Organising the festival can be a lot of work but for us it’s all about community – that’s who we do it for”.
